What you missed

Like every week, we’re back with another recap of the most important happenings of the hiphop and street fashion business world.

This time, we have Ufo361, who’s getting together with Lacoste, Central Cee for Jacquemus, and Action Bronson, who’s releasing his own New Balance sneaker.

Lots to cover, so let’s get into it!

Ufo361 x Lacoste

Ufo361 is getting together with Lacoste. The Berliner and the fashion brand have been working on their joint project for some while. Now, Ufo361 revealed the release date for the joint collection with Lacoste. The collaboration announcement was made by Ufo in an Insta-Story. Shortly after, he released a Vlog from Paris where he visited the headquarters of the brand.

The collaboration is dropping on December 9. As a child, it was “unimaginable” for the Berliner to be able to wear the brand. For him, it’s a huge moment.

Central Cee for
Jacquemus

UK Rap-star Central Cee is modeling for Jacquemus in the brands’ new campaign. The musician appears as the face of the new Winter campaign and is sporting some new cozy pieces in soft muted colors.

Jacquemus, a brand that is notorious for their PR and marketing, truly knows who’s a new icon and who’s not. For some, Central Cee for Jacquemus might be a surprise. But it’s surely not a bad one.

After all, Central Cee is the man of the hour. With his song “Doja”, Central Cee landed a huge hit and truly established his standing in the international music scene.

Action Bronson x
New Balance

US rapper Action Bronson is joining New Balance for a collaborative sneaker, the New Balance 990v6 “Baklava.”

Bronson, who is a multi-talent in the arts of music and the culinary world, is utilizing his brand as “Mr. Baklava” to give this sneaker offering his individual touch.

The shoe features heavily contrasting colors like neon green, blue, purple, brown, orange, pink, and grey. The traditional New Balance branding is switched out for “Baklava” typography. The sneaker is set to release in 2023.
