Long-term partners Skepta and Nike get together once again to drop even more sporty footwork. After successfully launching their recent Air Max Tailwind V collaboration, the rapper is diving into football – just in time for the UEFA European Championship.

The football boots dubbed “SK Phantom” were teased by Manchester United star Mason Greenwood last night on his Instagram Story. Let’s take a look.

The SK Phantom comes in a red and blue colorway, with heavy Skepta detailing.

We see SK branding on the sides of the boot as well as on the back. On the footbed, we get the classic SK Nike logo.

An absolute stand-out feature is a metallic silver swoosh. On top of that, the bright red and dark blue colorway features a similar black pattern as Skepta’s other Nike collabs.

Matching the swoosh, the sole of the boot comes in a similar silver color tone with specks of black.

The boots are dropping on June 13th, just after the official start of the UEFA European Championship, which begins on June 11th.

The British Grime-legend Skepta has turned his back to rap – but never to the culture. The end of his own music-making career has fans still in shock. But Skepta is already on his way to newer and bigger things.

His ongoing collaboration with Nike is just one of these projects. As an executive producer and collaborator mentor for many young artists, Skepta is notorious for pushing tomorrow’s talents to the main stage.

His ventures into streetwear always end up extremely successful. After all, he’s one of the UK’s biggest celebrities to constantly push streetwear and sportswear as the form of cultural expression. His collabs are therefore not only made with heart but are also extremely credible.
