Just like every week, we’re back with another recap of the most important happenings of the hiphop business world.

This time, we have Austrian rap star RAF Camora expanding his business. And Paris Men’s Fashion Week, where hiphop culture took place in different ways. And an extraordinary moment from fashion week, including Kendrick Lamar and Tiffany & Co.

RAF Camora and NEOH

After co-founding a beverage startup with Bonez MC, RAF Camora is back with the business ventures. And this time, he’s taking on the world of sweets with an investment in the sugar-free NEOH chocolate bars.

As the news spread, RAF explained hos motivation behind investing in the young brand:

“The concept of NEOH convinced me from the first hour, as I believe in the vision of the brand and like to support promising projects. The investment in the brand, which also comes from Vienna, was therefore a logical step for me”

The food startup with the sugar-free chocolate bar is one of the most famous startups in Austria. Only in May, NEOH announced the latest financing round in the millions. Behind NEOH is actually the startup Alpha Republic GmbH, which the Viennese Manuel Zeller, Alexander Gänsdorfer, Patrick Kolomaznik and Adel Hafizovic founded in 2016.

In 2018, the founders appeared on the TV show 2 Minuten 2 Millionen and subsequently raised an investment from Heinrich Prokop, as well as SevenVentures Austria and SevenVentures Germany. The startup has been listed with REWE for years, and in Germany since 2020, and has since expanded to the U.S. as well.

Rappers at
Paris Men’s Fashion Week

As every fashion week, this season’s Paris Men’s Fashion Week had a lot to offer. Whether its rappers modeling or high-profile guests from the culture – hiphop’s influence was undeniable.

Lil Durk showed off his best catwalk skills for the Amiri show and Kodak Black was there too, just doing what he does best: making jokes.

And then we had the Louis Vuitton show, a special moment for culture.

While the design team presented the news collection, Kendrick Lamar sat front row to pay tribute to Virgil Abloh, who passed in November 2021.

It was a emotional performance and a huge statement for everybody.

Speaking of Kendrick Lamar…

Kendrick and the
Tiffany Crown

Kendrick Lamar wore a crown of thorns to the show, designed by Tiffany & Co. Bestowed with over 8000 diamonds, this crown is Kendrick’s newest favourite accessory. He’s been wearing it everywhere.

The accessory was commissioned last year by the rapper and his longtime creative collaborator, Dave Free. The crown was first seen on the cover of Kendrick’s newest album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” which was released in May.
