The livestreaming platform Looped offers virtual events such as concerts or talks. The performing artists can add a paywall to the content just like with a regular ticket.

The platform, which was founded back in 2019, has enjoyed a lot of popularity lately due to the Corona pandemic. Now further funding in the amount of almost $ 8 million could be raised.  Investors include countless well-known celebrities, such as drummer Questlove of the hiphop band The Roots and Grammy-winning singer Jill Scott.
