an empty vacuum

The magazine and creative agency Highsnobiety took part in this year’s Berlin Fashion Week as a digital host. After establishing the “Not in Paris” exhibition in 2020, a digital alternative to the physical Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the Berlin-based company launches its newest project titled “Berlin, Berlin”.

Due to the current state of the pandemic, physical fashion shows in their original form aren’t possible. In addition to that, key fashion fairs were relocated to Frankfurt last year. The result? Berlin’s fashion week is in a state of upheaval. While this might sound scary, content-based projects like “Berlin, Berlin” prove that an empty canvas is the best way to start something great.
