City Girls x Icon Swim

The City Girls are the face of the latest capsule collection from swimwear brand Icon Swim.

For Yung Mami and JT, this is their first collaboration with Icon Swim, but they went all out. The collection is extremely wild, colorful and full of flashy pieces.

It’s “Time To Act Up” in Icon Swim

The City Girls collection delivers some bikinis, swimsuits and cover-ups. The designs are based on animal patterns, so there are zebra prints and bright colors everywhere you look.

The names of the pieces were also obviously based very much around JT and Yung Mami. Among other things, you can get the “Time To Act Up” bikini or the “Nasty But Classy” cover-up.

A few days before the release, the two rap stars announced the collaboration on Instagram. In addition, there was a raffle for the fans, in which each item of the collection could be won.

Price-wise, the pieces cost between $26 and $40, making them extremely affordable.

Before her career as a rapper, Yung Mami was already a fashion influencer on Instagram and gained quite a following. Overall, the two showcase their collection on their own accounts as well as their joint one. These accounts give them a combined total of over 10 million followers.

Recently, the two were also guests on the Revolt show “Respectfully, Justin” where they talked about their love life and upcoming projects.

City Girls on the fashion grind

Back in March, the two Miami artists secured another major collaboration. They launched a fashion collection together with fashion outlet boohoo.

In addition to the City Girls, Travis Scott also recently released his own capsule collection, which was highly inspired by motorsport and dirt bikes.

Another capsule collection that seems to be just around the corner is Drake’s highly anticipated collaboration with luxury brand Chrome Hearts. On Instagram, members of his OVO team recently teased the collaboration and showed off the first pieces.
