The Master of Puppets: Coolrain Lee – Toy Artist
Back when the Nike x Virgil Abloh x Nike “THE TEN” collection was just releasing, toy artist Coolrain Lee took it upon himself to create a tiny figure of Virgil Abloh. With other tributes like the Jerry Lorenzo, Scottie Pippen and Salehe Bembury figures to release, the Seoul-based artist has turned to a miniature Pharrell Williams as his latest tribute.
This figure of Salehe Bembury is handmade by Coolrain and Lady Brown, highly detailed and characterizes the new Louis Vuitton era of the multitalented Pharrell.
Lanvin Lab announces new Creative Director: FUTURE
Another music superstar has entered fashion as Creative Director… kind of. Grammy-winning artist Future has been appointed as the creative director for Lanvin’s first Lanvin Lab collection. Future’s visionary influence spans beyond music and entertainment, resonating across various aspects of contemporary culture. Inspired by Jeanne Lanvin’s diverse interests, Lanvin Lab serves as a creative hub for artists and designers, embodying the spirit of the era. The inaugural release from LANVIN LAB will center around music. The collection is scheduled for Autumn 2023.
Drake releases poetry book… and another album!
These are weird times we’re living in. Drake just released his first poetry book called “Titles Ruin Everything”. In addition to his book, he will also be releasing a new album. Observant fans noticed a QR code in the ads for the book that directed them to a website, where it was revealed that Drizzy is preparing to release a new album. The specific release date for the project has not been confirmed yet. The website titlesruineverything.com includes the text, “I made an album to go with the book… They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. For all the dogs.”
