Market executed one of the better April Fools with a Nike homage, GQ Middle East covered a nice story about Samir Bantal, Porsche and Daniel Arsham worked together on the ‘Porsche NEBULA 928’ which was shown at SXSW in Austin, the Deluxe of CMIYGL made us gaze upon Tyler’s car collection and Snoop Dogg made us enjoy Wrestlemania 39 in Hollywood even more.

Market: ‘JUST DO IT YOURSELF’
Market, formerly known as Chinatown Market, recently pulled off a hilarious April Fools’ prank that left many sneaker enthusiasts scratching their heads. They created a fictional product called the ‘Just Do It Yourself’ kit, which supposedly allowed customers to customize their Crocs shoes with the iconic Nike swoosh.
GQ Middle East: Samir Bantal
GQ Middle East features an interview with Samir Bantal, the director of AMO, an architecture firm founded by Rem Koolhaas. Bantal discusses his creative process, his approach to design, and the importance of storytelling in architecture. He also talks about AMO’s recent projects, including collaborations with Prada and the redevelopment of the Miami Beach Convention Center. “The West has been dominating global thinking for a couple of hundred years. Isn’t it time to genuinely understand other perspectives?”
Daniel Arsham for Porsche: ‘Porsche NEBULA 928’
Contemporary artist Daniel Arsham and automotive designer Khyzyl Saleem worked with Porsche to redesign the exterior of a 1978 Porsche 928. The result is called Porsche NEBULA 928 and is inspired by Y2K aesthetics. The vehicle has a metallic purple paint job and a custom interior with suede and leather. The car is on display in Austin, Texas, at the Porsche X space for SXSW.
Tyler The Creator’s Car Collection
Tyler The Creator has an extensive collection of cars that includes McClaren’s, Rolls Royce Cullinan’s, and his signature mayonnaise-coloured BMW E30 M3. His latest drop of the CMIYGL deluxe version, ‘The Estate Sale,’ showcased his newest additions, which are a couple of Italian rally cars from the ’80s and ’90s. The candyfloss pink Fiat 131 Abarth and Lancia Delta HF Integrale, seen in the SIDE STREET teaser and the WUSYANAME video, respectively, have been customized with racing seats, steering wheels, and custom Tokyo Tyres, and feature white Speedline rims, momo racing steering wheel, and extended arches. These cars were displayed at the GOLF le FLEUR* event in December 2021.
Snoop Dogg at WWE’s Wrestlemania 39 in Hollywood
Snoop Dogg made a special appearance at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood, where he was the celebrity host for the event. The legendary rapper and entertainer brought his trademark charisma to the show, engaging with fans and even getting involved in the action by performing a top-rope splash on wrestler, The Miz.
